Scripture - 2 Samuel 24

Observation - David wanted to worship God at the threshing floor, the place where God showed him and all of Israel GRACE. Araunah wanted to give him the land, but David wanted his worship to cost him something.

Application - We cannot earn anything from God with our actions or worship, but David’s costly worship sets a good example for us. True worship often requires genuine sacrifice. How can you worship God today with your life in a way that shows true surrender and sacrifice?

Prayer - Thank you for giving me GRACE freely. May my life be a living sacrifice to you.
