GROW UP - WEEK TWO - DAY TWO

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

7 So God’s message continued to spread. The number of believers greatly increased in Jerusalem, and many of the Jewish priests were converted, too.

REFLECTION:
Has there ever been a time in your life where a need was supposed to be met and you felt like you were the only one that could do it? I know that’s happened to me and sometimes i have to reflect on that because am i actually the only one who can fulfill that need or am i just not asking for help? Earlier in this scripture it talks about the disciples trying to do what they were called to do (spreading and sharing the gospel) but getting pulled aside to handle a problem where they really didn’t need to be in. So with wisdom and clarity they gave opportunity to others to fulfill the needs of the people so that they can move forward with what they were originally called to do. There is people out there waiting to be asked to fulfill the needs to help you reach the goal.
THOUGHTS TO PONDER:
Do you find it easy or hard to offer help? Have you ever been in a situation like the disciples leading people? Just a reminder that It’s not all on us. My challenge to you this week is to pray and seek those people in your life to make reaching others for Jesus possible!
