They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

REFLECTION:

Have you ever walked into a building or a restaurant and noticed the big “HELP WANTED” sign in the door. i feel like that’s been on the heart of many churches throughout the years as well. the people are meant to be the one to build the church up and out. If we combine the gift with the need then that equals Gods deeper work and plan for the church. We can’t let the words “how can i help” escape our vocabulary when the enemy is on the prowl trying to dis unify churches left and right. Let’s stand up and use our gifts to fight!

Have you been serving for a while or you are just starting out? Take time this week to journal about new areas you can use your gifts. Is it a new serving area at church, starting a bible study in your community, etc?
